The project is a conceptual solution for the reconstruction of the existing building on Voždovac, with the aim of improving functionality and forming a contemporary architectural expression. The intervention is focused on improving the external appearance and defining the approach more clearly, while maintaining the basic structure of the object.

The existing volume retains its basic form, while through carefully introduced elements a new hierarchy and readability of the space is achieved. Particular emphasis was placed on the entrance zone, which was emphasized as the central point of gathering and access to the object.

Concept

The concept is based on the contrast between a stunned, calm and reduced architecture and a new, pronounced intervention element. The entrance area is shaped as a dynamic, fractured form lined with panels of a warm, golden tone, which stands out from the basic volume and clearly signals the function of the object. This element is not only a visual accent, but also a spatial filter that introduces the user to the object, creating a sense of transition from the external to the controlled internal space. The rest of the facade is treated neutrally, further emphasizing the contrast and importance of the entrance zone.
