The business building in Nis (2,152 m²) was designed in response to modern requirements for a flexible working environment. The building is organized through the ground floor and typical floors that allow easy adaptation of the space according to the needs of the users. The ground floor includes an entrance hall with common facilities, while the rest of the building is occupied by high-performance office spaces. This approach treats the entire facility and its immediate surroundings as an integral part of the workplace, emphasizing the usable value and longevity of the structure.

Concept

The architectural concept rests on pure geometry and an “ideal gray cube” that unobtrusively fits into the specific urban context. The visual dynamics are achieved through subtle cuts on the facade and carefully positioned openings that follow the orientation of the object and optimize the penetration of natural light. The gray color of the mass serves as a canvas for the game of shadows that changes throughout the day, creating a feeling of freshness and simplicity. The design avoids visual conflict with the environment, focusing on clear forms that encourage a calm and productive work environment.
