About project

2008.

The project includes reconstruction, adaptation and extension of the existing building for the needs of restaurants within the tobacco factory in Niš, with a total gross area of 2000 m². The building has been transformed into a modern canteen space with clearly defined functional units — food preparation area, distribution lines and comfort zones for users. Particular emphasis was placed on the effective organization of the movement of employees and users, as well as on connecting the interior with the external space through transparent facade surfaces.

Concept

The concept is based on contemporary architectural expression and the enhancement of user experience in an industrial environment. The horizontally accentuated form of the object, highlighted by the red facade frame and large glass surfaces, creates a dynamic and distinctive visual identity. Transparency allows natural lighting and visual connection with the environment, while the interior follows the functional and aesthetic requirements of the contemporary catering space. The idea was to enrich the industrial environment with a warm and accessible space for the daily stay of employees.

Modern design and functionality transform industrial space into a pleasant environment for everyday living
