Family House in Niš
Through a harmonious synthesis of classical and contemporary materials, this newly designed house on the city’s edge reflects a subtle play between the past and the present.
The primary goal of the architectural approach was to preserve the existing vegetation on the site, which dictated the functional solution and the form of the roof structure.
Based on an orthogonal foundation, its character is distinguished by undulating lines that define the roof structure. This gentle movement emphasizes structural elegance, while the roof, with its cantilever, forms a canopy both at the front and rear of the building.
The contrast between the roof and the platform is evident through carefully chosen materials that adorn the facade, adding depth and character to the overall architectural expression.
