Public Garage Kragujevac

Construction, or assembly, of the two-level parking facility is planned on the existing parking lot as a freestanding structure. Parking for up to 97 vehicles is available, with 43 spaces on the ground floor and 54 on the upper level. Five parking spaces are designated for people with special needs.
The primary structure is steel, while the floor structure is constructed as a reinforced concrete slab. The upper level is enclosed with a transparent fence, and on parts of the facade covered with aluminum composite panels, this material is left exposed and serves as fencing.
Considering the attractiveness and significance of the location, special emphasis is placed on the aesthetics and design of the facility to achieve a modern garage. The simple radial shape allows for creative design, particularly through the choice of facade materials. Street-facing facades towards access roads are made of aluminum composite panels, with diffused decorative lighting, while steel fencing is planned for facades oriented towards the center of the block.
The parking lot is designed with an atrium serving as a circular traffic circle, utilized to introduce additional greenery. Planters for low greenery are provided along the perimeter of the upper level. Additionally, all available spaces are enriched with greenery, contributing to a departure from an industrial feel and embracing a more park-like design.
