Community Health Center Zaječar

The health center is the vital hub of the community, providing essential healthcare services and care for the population in the local community.
The project represents a complete transformation of the Health Center to meet the demands of the modern era in the field of healthcare facilities. The newly designed solution retains its existing floor plan, although its area is reduced due to the removal of certain parts. The organization of functional units has undergone significant changes, adapting to new requirements and trends in the healthcare industry. The part dedicated to treating children has been completely removed due to poor structural condition.
Although the form of the building remains unchanged, two prominent concrete slopes still dominate, giving it its recognizable appearance. The facade remains enriched with triangular planters with natural greenery on each floor, which, compared to its previous appearance, have gained a new dimension, emphasizing the horizontal form of the building with a continuous line. With this architectural approach, the healthcare facility blends into the immediate surroundings. The facade clearly features a continuous series of glass surfaces, providing natural light and internal comfort. The entrance to the building is designed in accordance with the aesthetic and functional principles of its purpose.
